Welcome To Selah Horsemanship
Take a deep breath…
Maybe two or three.
It’s going to be okay.
You’re not alone.
People already have judgements and thoughts about who you are, what you look like, what you said, what you didn’t say, and what you believe.
Ultimately it isn’t about you.
You’ve felt prompted and called to do this for years..
Finally the discomfort of stuffing what you want to express and share can be suppressed no more.
Those who don’t want to see can simply look away.
Those who don’t understand will likely continue to misunderstand you.
It’s going to be okay.
You’re not alone.
You might be reading the above statements and be thinking to yourself, I’m talking you through stepping out and doing what you feel called to do.
Which I’m 100% in support of you doing what you feel called to do, if your prompting is from a place of love, service, and blessing!
Truth be told you’re reading just a peek of the reassurance I talked myself through as I took every step of action to create and publish this website.
I understand that not everyone will like or appreciate what I share here… and that’s okay.
But what I share here is part of who I am, and every time I choose to not step out and create a place for me to openly express what might make a connection between someone and God, or might give someone hope and encouragement to know they’re not alone.
Is when I’m choosing to say no to myself.
Saying no, to God.
That burden is too heavy and one I no longer choose to carry…
So today I’m saying YES.
I’m openly sharing that I have a heart for God and a passion for horses… I’m not a preacher, I’ve never been to a school or course on Bible theology or religion.
What I share here is from my heart and something I feel I’m supposed to share in support and value to others…
That is my hope and prayer with this website and blog, to bring light, love, and encouragement to those of you that like me have a heart for God and a passion for horses.
I share weekly blog posts that I call “Equitations”. Below you’ll find where you can sign up to receive weekly email updates.
Before you explore these posts, I encourage you to look over the Pages shared below. This shares how the Trinity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit have been seen and understood from the light of working and being with horses.
This is the foundation of my faith and how my horsemanship guides me closer and deeper with God with every session.
